Here's how to do a patch test:

Here are some tips on how to store your L’ermaids Slush Facial Mask:
✔ Keep the black plastic seal over the top of the mask when not in use to preserve freshness.
✔ Keep your mask away from humid places like the shower.
✔ It is recommended to use the mask within 6 months after opening.
✔ Tightly close the container immediately after each use.
✔ Keep out of reach of children.
This might be surprising but storing your skincare product in your bathroom is not doing your products any favor. Bathroom temperature fluctuates in heat and humidity. Water can condense on the surface, and this may affect the efficiency of your skincare product.
- How big is the L’ermaids Slush Facial Mask jar?
The jar is 50 grams which is about 3 months worth (for usage of 3-4 times per week).
- What is the shelf life of your product?
Unopened products have a shelf life of 24 months. Once opened, we recommend using the product within 6 months for the best results.
- What is the purpose of the mini spatula?
Instead of using your fingers, scoop out appropriate amount of the mask to apply on your face. Please ensure your fingers are cleaned. Using the mini spatula will help ensure a more hygienic application without contaminating the mask.

All L’ermaids products are paraben-free! Our products do however, contain a small amount of preservatives.
If we could, we’d go without them altogether, but preservatives are super necessary to make sure that skincare stays at its most effective in different environments. It also protects your products from the growth of microorganisms (the bacteria that can do more break you out).
We're committed to clean formulas, so we've kept them to an absolute minimum. We use less than 1% of Phenoxyethanol which is a synthetic preservative and less than the NPRA limit. We made sure that all our products are NPRA compliant and that we use only safe preservatives, at the right amount to keep your products safe to use.

You might experience a slight tight sensation in the first minute, this is where active ingredients get to work. If irritation occurs, please do not use it.

Our product draws out toxins, pollutants and oils that clog the pores. It can be incorporated into any skin routine but will not cure acne alone.

- Is a tingling feeling while using the mask normal?
Yes! L’ermaids Slush Facial Mask is full of active ingredients. The tingle is good and it means that the ingredients are working on the impurities on your skin and absorbing the good things while you relax.
- What should I do if I have experienced breakouts after using the L’ermaids Slush Facial Mask?
It’s normal to experience a few spots after using the mask, don’t worry, it generally means it is doing its job! The clay draws impurities to the surface of your skin, so they have to come out somehow!
All the sebum is being drawn to the surface of the skin, so once you have moved past this phase, your skin should be clear and you won’t experience this every time you use the L’ermaids Slush Facial Mask.
If your spots are in the areas where you normally get pimples, this is called a purge, and it is a good thing as it means the treatment is doing its job. If your spots are outside of these areas, then the L’ermaids Slush Facial Mask may not be right for your skin.
